This form must be completed for EACH program date being requested. Consecutive programs can only be scheduled on the same date at the same location with the same animal. To receive scholarship funding, you must explain how a WAVE on Wheels program will impact your participants and enhance learning. Include demographics on underserved populations that will participate in the program. If booking for a non-school community organization, please include the name of the closest public school and the free/reduced lunch percentage rate.
If your organization is awarded a scholarship/grant funding, you agree to complete a post program survey to be eligible for future funding.
These 30 minute programs are perfect for little minds and include a read-aloud. We can accommodate up to 30 people in these programs, you may need to request more than one section for multiple groups. No animal ambassador.
Connect your group to environmental education in the classroom for grades 1-5. These educational programs align with NGSS and OH state standards for science and can accommodate 50 participants at a time up to 1 hour. No animal ambassador.
Perfect for larger groups looking for an environmental education presentation, we are happy to accommodate up to 125 participants (includes school/venue staff). Assembly Programs are 45 minutes – 1 hour in length. No animal ambassador.
Connect your older students to environmental education in the classroom! These education programs use project-based learning and align with NGSS and OH state standards for science and can accommodate 50 participants at a time up to 1 hour. No animal ambassador.
Perfect for after-school wiggles and day camps! These programs are half environmental education program and half-moving activity that center around a conservation theme. Do you have an event and would like to connect your audience with environmental education? We are happy to be one of your stations. Guests can come up to our table and ask questions and explore aquatic artifacts. Programs are one hour in length. Please note, this is a different format from the assembly programs. Interactive distance learning programs are now available. All programs are 45 minutes in length and will be conducted through Teams. These programs will feature a live-stream of our animal ambassadors, feature artifacts, and give the guests opportunities to ask questions. WAVE Foundation will email you a link for the connection once your registration is confirmed.
